100 Amp Alternator Fuse Toyota. First off i have been through 3 auto zone alternators and now i just put in a new stock one. The fuse it a bitch the only way I could get it out was taking the fuse box out. My Toyota Hilux D4D alternator fuse 100amp blows every time I start the engine. Its about two to three seconds.
You can remove check and replace this fuse yourself with no special tools or knowledge. Undo them and raise the fuse out and put the new one in and tighten up the bolts again. Will require pulling the fuse box apart as they are bolted to the wires inside the box. Have the same problem. Should be fine but i believe you will need to replace the alternator fuse to a 130 amp as well. How do you replace a 100 amp alternator relay fuse.
Toyota systems have a charging system fuse that provides a linkage between the alternator and the battery.
So i went out to the parts store and bought a new one. You can remove check and replace this fuse yourself with no special tools or knowledge. 2000 Toyota Camry or solara 100 amp fuse replace. Im not sure about the gauge of the wires if there is a difference with the 100 to 130 but i do not think Toyota would make separate harnesses just because of an.
