1999 Nissan Pathfinder Knock Sensor Location. I got the part and swapped them ou. The sensor is attached to the cylinder block cylinder head or intake manifold. You may need some wire heat shrink and some electrical tape. I code was a P0325.
The sensor is attached to the cylinder block cylinder head or intake manifold. I have removed it and cannot find any sensors under it or wires going to any sensors. Knock sensor wont throw the check eng light on on a nissan. I have removed it and cannot find any sensors under it or wires going to any sensors. Posted on Jun 14 2009. If you have a knock sensor code just replace it. It is not on the air filter tubing. As for the knock sensor the new motor I put in didnt have the same mounting place as the old one so I drilled a hole as close to the crankcase in the bell housing where the tranny connects as I could then just bolted it there.
