2002 Nissan Altima Heater Blows Cold Air. When I turn the heat on it blows out nothing but cold air no matter which setting I have it on defroster feet etc I need the defroster especially in the rain because the car fogs so bad i cant even see where im going. When I turn the heat on it blows cold air when the caer is in park. So when you face the trouble of a car heater blowing cold air examine either the heater core or the bend. The only thing i found is you haft to make sure the radiator cap is abouve the heater core.
Now that we are into cold weather it blows only lukewarm air when I have the heat on. In fact most wont even cycle on without the right amount of. The ac did the same thing in the summer. You may have an issue with the thermostat or the heater core.

Run the engine a 3000rpm. There could even be a puddle of liquid under the front of the vehicle. Leave the cap off and run the heater on high top up the radiator periodicaly and when the bubbles stop for 2 min all the air will be out and youll have probably more heat then you ever had. I have a 2002 altima 35 and had the same problem. When they work the hot air is great and same with the cold on the ac.
