Toyota Rav4 Alarm Keeps Going Off. Can I temporarily disable the alarm so I can leave my small dog locked in the car for 5 minutes while I nip in the shop without him setting the alarm off. Thanks very much for the advice. Thus far it has never beeped when we lock the door. If you own a Toyota car and ever lose your keyless remote entry controller you can run into problems with the alarm system. Mark shows you a trick he has used to stop this annoying condition.
